Founded in 1974 Hollow Core Systems(Mid-East) Ltd are specialist in the design, machinery manufacture, and construction management of pre-stressed hollow core floor plants. Allied to hollow core production the company provides technology for the manufacture of traditional pre cast concrete for example pre-stressed beams, columns, cladding panels etc. The company provides technical management to the largest hollow core producer in Saudi Arabia; Saif Noman Said and Partners operating from their plants in Jeddah and Riyadh. HCSME are pioneers in the development of specially adapted hollow core slabs for use as TermoDeck slabs in buildings. TermoDeck is the worlds most advance energy system for use in buildings of all types. The largest building constructed in the middle east using the technology is the 40,000m2 Gulf Centre in Jeddah. It was constructed in 1995 utilizing only 700 tons of chiller capacity in the peak summer months. This represents a saving of over 1500 tons against conventional technology. HCSME in association with Saif Noman Said and partners constructed a pre-stressed concrete railway sleeper production plant in Riyadh in 1985.The company successfully produced 360,000 sleepers over an 18 month period. We are today actively pursuing the possibility of supplying sleepers for the new high speed railway system proposed between Jeddah and Riyadh. In association with the head licensor of TermoDeck we are also actively pursuing leads world wide for the establishment of existing or new hollow core plants to promote TermoDeck.
